This is a very special episode of “Bred to Perfection.” We are talking with a young lady, named Jessa, who is not only 10 years old, but she has her own podcast. Best of all, she talks about chickens!
If you are a chicken raiser, or a beginner thinking about getting chickens for the first time, this podcast is for you. Jessa is a joy to listen to, and the information she provides is accurate and useful.
Jessa reminds us of another little girl who wrote articles for a poultry publication at the age of 13, for 2 years. They published everything she wrote. That was our daughter Samantha. She became well known for the information she provided. And to this day people still ask about her. In fact, she is a big reason why I got into the chicken education practice.
Just like our daughter Samantha, don’t let her age fool you, Jessa is wise beyond her years. I look forward to her show each week. Jessa is the up-and-coming star of the chicken world, and future of all backyard chicken raisers.
I’m so impressed with her passion and her willingness to not only improve as a chicken raiser, but to share what she has learned with others. I plan to watch her progression closely, and I encourage you to do the same.
